September 14, 2015 - Here are two cards I made in recent weeks, I'm pretty proud of them. For the top card with balloons, I used a 2" inch circle punch to make the balloons. I made the lip of the balloons myself by cutting out two triangles freehand. I used glitter markers to make the shine that appears on a balloon, when sunlight or artificial light hits it. For the background, I used an embossing folder (Cricut Cuttlebug), to make the flower pattern. I then used a glitter pen to add some sparkle to the flowers. I glued the twine to the back of the balloons, then tucked the excess twine under the background piece gluing the twine to the back of it. I glued the background piece to the card, then added the Happy Birthday sign.

The second card I used a banner die cut (Lawn Fawn), in various sizes. I punched out a 2 1/2" circle punch and stamped it with a clear stamp (Penny Black Clear Stamp Set, Betsy Bluebell). I used Copic Markers to color the stamp and added a clear stamp quote (Fiskars).
