Peppa Pig 'Fairy' Card - I made this 5 x7 card for a friend's daughter. For the white background, I used a 4x6 piece of white cardstock. I then ran it through my Cuttlebug, with a flower embossing folder. I had a template of Peppa's head, which I traced onto pink cardstock. I used a 1" circle punch on a darker pink cardstock, to make Peppa's rosy cheek. I drew the snout, mouth and glued on the wiggle eyes. I made the crown, Peppa's dress, hands, wand and wings freehand. I used a mini-star punch to make the star on her magic wand. I made this while at a Scrapbook Retreat. I was delighted with the outcome and hope my friend's daughter will be as well.

September 14, 2015 - Here are two cards I made in recent weeks, I'm pretty proud of them. For the top card with balloons, I used a 2" inch circle punch to make the balloons. I made the lip of the balloons myself by cutting out two triangles freehand. I used glitter markers to make the shine that appears on a balloon, when sunlight or artificial light hits it. For the background, I used an embossing folder (Cricut Cuttlebug), to make the flower pattern. I then used a glitter pen to add some sparkle to the flowers. I glued the twine to the back of the balloons, then tucked the excess twine under the background piece gluing the twine to the back of it. I glued the background piece to the card, then added the Happy Birthday sign.

The second card I used a banner die cut (Lawn Fawn), in various sizes. I punched out a 2 1/2" circle punch and stamped it with a clear stamp (Penny Black Clear Stamp Set, Betsy Bluebell). I used Copic Markers to color the stamp and added a clear stamp quote (Fiskars).

August 2, 2015 - I can't believe I haven't posted anything since November of 2014. It's been a busy year. Here's a tag I made for wedding shower favors. I combined two clear stamps, to make the teacups and hearts. I wrote the saying freehand. I used a 3 1/2" scallop punch and a 3" circle punch.
